Portland Street was built by the Victorians and was once lined with textile warehouses of which a few remain. It forms the southern border of the thriving Chinatown district. The stretch between Princess Street and Charlotte Street has preserved a range of early 19th Century buildings including Manchesters two smallest pubs, the Grey Horse and the Circus Tavern. | |||
